Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are following strict guidelines for in-office patients in order to minimize the number of people in the office and to decrease risk to our patients and employees.

  • Please DO NOT come to an appointment if anyone in the family has a fever, cough, sore throat, runny nose or if anyone has known exposure to COVID-19.
  • Only the patient and one parent may attend the appointment.
  • All parents and patients (2 years old or older) are required to wear masks.
  • If you are late for your appointment time and it runs into someone else’s appointment time you may not be seen.

Thank you for your adherence to these measures that will hopefully protect everyone and enable us to continue to serve our patients.

WELCOME to Pediatric Dermatology of Orange County, a unique dermatology practice serving children of all ages in Southern California.

OUR MISSION: To deliver outstanding dermatologic care for children with superior customer service in a warm, caring environment.

We understand that kids are not “little adults”. Certain dermatologic conditions are unique to children, and diseases sometimes present differently in children than in adults. Even more importantly, caring for children takes a unique approach that can’t be developed by seeing a few pediatric patients. Dr. Metz is uniquely qualified, having fulfilled fellowship training in pediatric and adolescent dermatology and having served as the Director of Pediatric Dermatology at University of California Irvine for over 5 years.
